About My Clients
My clients often struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance use, and feel weighed down by stress or stuck in old patterns. They want relief from constant worry, negative thoughts, and overwhelming emotions. What they’re seeking is a safe and supportive space where they can process their experiences, build healthier coping skills, and feel understood. Their goal is to break cycles, improve relationships, and move toward greater balance, clarity, and confidence.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with experience in community mental health, substance use treatment, crisis intervention, and correctional settings. My background has given me the opportunity to support clients from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds, each with unique needs and strengths. I use a trauma-informed, attachment-based lens to explore how past experiences influence present struggles, and I integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients gain insight and build effective coping skills. I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and tailored to each person’s goals. My style is warm, direct, and supportive—I aim to create a safe environment where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to make lasting change. Together, we focus on breaking cycles, improving relationships, and moving toward greater confidence, clarity, and balance.
