About My Clients
Something has gone quiet. Busy on the outside, tired and overwhelmed on the inside. A low hum that does not change. You might feel distance from yourself, and in relationships that matter most, and cannot bear to look at what it is costing. You may have spent years building a life that looks nothing like what you started with. Your body remembers the journey, but your words have not reached. Whatever brought you here, something in you knows there is more available. This is where we begin.
My Background and Approach
I am a relationally and somatically oriented therapist working with individuals and couples. My approach draws on Relational Life Therapy, sex and intimacy therapy, gestalt, and depth traditions. In session we slow down and track what is happening in your body and between us. I may invite you to pause, to breathe, to notice what your body is doing. With couples we move past the defense and join through the truth. This is not talk therapy. It is experiential, direct, and body-informed. Before this work I spent 15 years in tech transformation — building systems, leading change, sitting across from high-functioning people running on empty. I could not unsee it. MA in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling, Naropa University. Trained in Relational Life Therapy and sex and intimacy therapy through Martha Kauppi's Institute for Relational Intimacy. On the AASECT certification path. Registered APCC 18428, supervised by Elysha Martinez, LMFT 93493.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I grew up in Croatia and immigrated to the United States as an adult. I have lived across three countries and think in multiple languages. I understand the loneliness of being fluent in a room but not quite at home in it, and the grief of what gets left behind when you rebuild a life somewhere new. I believe our capacity to love is not a soft skill. It is the most demanding work we do. I welcome clients of all racial, ethnic, cultural, gender, and sexual identities. Therapy gets to be a space where every part of who you are can be present. I am a competitive rower, a singer, and a practitioner of authentic movement. Each has taught me something about presence, surrender, and the intelligence of the body. I speak English and Croatian fluently.
