About My Clients
People often arrive at my practice wanting to communicate better with their partner, teen or loved one. They describe being stuck in a cycle of blame, doing everything they can to avoid a fight, or feeling they question themselves and the relationship. They yearn for a strong, healthy and meaningful relationship, including with themselves. Together in therapy we can traverse these difficult relationship situations, and move you toward a more connected and vibrant way of life.
My Background and Approach
My years of experience working with individuals, couples and families have revealed the power of emotion to repair and heal relationships. When we allow ourselves the space to feel our emotions, we can begin to unpack, make sense of and reshape it into a bonding opportunity. I also provide practical skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance. We'll work collaboratively to identify what are the beliefs and emotional experiences that limit you from feeling whole. I believe we are all wired for connection, and when those connections are threatened or lost it leads too feeling depressed, anxious, and unhealthy coping habits. Regardless of your ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender expression, spiritual beliefs or any of the other structures that are often used to divide us, I'm committed to providing a compassionate, safe, and trauma-informed practice to be seen, heard, and heal.

I believe everyone is capable of growth and that we all have the capacity to be self- healing beings. I provide the guidance and support necessary for you to recognize your wisdom and live your inherent strengths.
