About My Clients
I have extensive experiences in working with children and adolescents, helping them managing trauma, anxiety and depression that many times manifested itself as a fight-flight-freeze response. My goal is to empower adolescents and parents in promoting a positive attitude, using a proactive collaborative approach guided by evidenced-based strategies, such as social-emotional learning, self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
My Background and Approach
My clients enjoy the non-directive approaches to therapy as it makes them feel comfortable working with me. I pay attention to client’s stories, put myself into client’s shoes, and support the client through the lens of unconditional positive regard. I am specialized in using Reality Therapy, CBT and Play Therapy. The parents really appreciate my work as I bridge the gap between children and parents, enhance their communication, and help children become more resilient, confident, and happier.
