My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is down-to-earth, practical, and insight and solution-oriented. As a clinical psychologist I have extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapy and have seen many clients improve with these techniques. I have helped people overcome their problems in a variety of settings including hospitals, community mental health clinics, university counseling centers, and schools. My low-key style and sense of humor tends to work well with people who are new to mental health treatment or are reluctant to try therapy.
