My Background and Approach
I have over 10 years of experience working with youth and families. I worked within the child welfare system for over 6 years with a focus on supporting families and achieving permanency for older youth in foster care. I encourage my clients to challenge, explore and reimagine the narratives that they have formed or were formed about themselves. I often draw upon my years of experience working and partnering with youth and families in schools and in the child welfare system. I apply several techniques to therapy and meet clients with compassion and acceptance. Ultimately, I aim to provide support and practical feedback to my clients as they embark on the path towards self-love, gratitude, belonging, and healing.
