About My Clients
Throughout my career, I have worked with clients from childhood to early adulthood, in addition to couples and families who have struggled with depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, self-harm, stress, grief, behavioral issues, and relationship issues. I have a particular interest in helping clients navigate life transitions, such as identity searching, career changes, and loss, and helping clients find meaning and purpose in their lives.
My Background and Approach
Nature-based therapy offers a unique approach to healing, using activities like hiking, nature walks, gardening, and outdoor crafts to foster relaxation, personal growth, and emotional well-being. Whether you’re a nature lover or new to the outdoors, this therapeutic style is for anyone—children, teens, and adults. At Green Haven Healing, nature therapy can be as varied as your needs: from traditional talk sessions in the office to making bush-craft projects, hiking, or simply sitting outside and taking in the surroundings. The beauty of nature often helps make therapy fun, while still addressing serious mental health challenges, I’m here to guide you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a therapist dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive space where clients of all backgrounds can feel supported. My practice, Green Haven Healing, integrates eco-therapy principles, emphasizing the healing power of nature and reconnecting with the environment. I am a proud ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, support the Black Lives Matter movement, and focus on reducing the stigma around seeking therapy, particularly within marginalized groups. I also advocate for mental health awareness, sustainability, and animal rights, reflecting my vegan lifestyle and commitment to eco-friendly, cruelty-free living. My goal is to help clients heal and grow while aligning with their own values and beliefs in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment.
