About My Clients
I work with young adults through older adults navigating identity, life transitions, and questions of meaning. I am especially supportive of LGBTQIA+ individuals and those experiencing suicidal ideation or deep emotional distress. My approach is grounded, affirming, and focused on helping people feel seen, understood, and less alone as they move through difficult chapters of their lives.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) with experience working with suicidality, emotional dysregulation, and borderline personality disorder. I am trained in DBT, CBT, and EMDR, and I integrate existential and person-centered approaches to support both skill-building and deeper healing. My work helps clients process trauma, regulate intense emotions, strengthen relationships, and explore identity and meaning while building a life that feels more stable, authentic, and worth living.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone is deserving of kindness, dignity, and compassion. My work is grounded in curiosity, respect, and a deep appreciation for understanding the full complexity of the human experience. I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and an active advocate for marginalized populations. I support social justice movements, including Black Lives Matter, and strive to practice therapy through an anti-oppressive, affirming lens. I also have direct experience with suicide prevention and am deeply committed to supporting individuals navigating intense emotional pain, crisis, and recovery. I value creating a space where people feel genuinely seen, understood, and met with care — not judgment.
