Depression is a mood disturbance that ranges from mild to severe. I create a space where individual can feel heard and understood, while at the same time exploring their areas of life that are causing distress. Equipped with understanding we move toward change.

I utilize the Gottman approach and emotionally focused therapy techniques to help distressed couples work through challenges and straighten their bond. This involves a through assessment e.g., meeting as a couple, completing an online assessment, meeting individually, and finally coming together to discuss the results of the assessments. As a result clients get a in-depth understanding of strengths and challenges in the relationship. Based on the assessment we develop a treatment plan.

e Adjustment Disorder is a mild form of disturbance that can involve mood and behavior. After getting clear about the causes of the disturbance we work to better manage the life circumstances that cause the disturbance

I use Attachment Theory to help clients understand why they may experience challenges i primary relationships.
