When you are grieving after suicide loss, you feel absolutely lost. You are filled with so many conflicting emotions, you don't know how to sort through them all. How do you even answer the question: “What happened?” Your friends mean well and they want to help, but they just don't get it. This is where I can help. Your grief is welcome here with me.
My Background and Approach
My name is Paula, and grief was my own initiation into this work. When I was a young adult, my father died, and I used art to process my experience of grief. Now I use art therapy to assist those who are grieving, especially after suicide loss. When language is not enough, art therapy can allow you the space to express how you feel beyond words and find a way to live with grief. I've been a licensed therapist since 2014, walking alongside hundreds of clients as they navigate through the darkest moments in their lives. I know how helpful it is to have someone with you. I am licensed to provide therapy to clients in Oregon, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know what it’s like to encounter darkness, and I want to walk with you through yours.
