About My Clients
I provide compassionate, comprehensive, and evidenced-based mental health care to children, adolescents, and young adults ages 2 to 25 years old. I diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions such as ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, bipolar, mood disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorders, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. I provide a holistic, collaborative approach that involves the patient, their families and other support systems to improve the the quality of care.
My Background and Approach
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) focusing on children, adolescents and young adults. As a pediatric psychiatric nurse practitioner, my work encompasses a broad spectrum of mental health services that includes the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various mental health conditions and includes the use of both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in psychology and a bachelor's degree in science and nursing, both of which I received from Rutgers University. I have a Family Nurse Practitioner master’s degree from Widener University and a post-master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of New Hampshire.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to improving mental health care for children and adolescents. Early in my career, I saw how limited access to specialized psychiatric services created barriers for families and delayed essential care. This experience strengthened my dedication to advancing my training and becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I believe early, developmentally informed intervention is critical—it supports emotional, social, and cognitive growth and helps children build resilience, healthy coping skills, and strong relationships.
