About My Clients
I prioritize understanding more than just symptoms or diagnoses; I want to understand you. I encourage clients to be honest, take reasonable risks, and learn to trust themselves so they can move forward with courage and conviction.
My Background and Approach
My clinical approach blends psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral theories, allowing me to tailor therapy to your specific needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I bring over a decade of diverse experience to my practice. After earning my Doctor of Psychology degree from Rutgers University, I joined the faculty at Albany Medical College’s Department of Psychiatry. There, I supervised residents, lectured, and developed a model of psychotherapy integrating client-chosen music. I am currently licensed in Colorado, New York, and all PsyPact* states. Outside the office, you’ll usually find me riding my motorcycle, playing the cello, or trying everything in my power to make my 9-month-old giggle. A classically trained cellist in a "former life," I believe resolutely that music is medicine.
