I work with obsessive themes of all kinds— from germs to relationships and existential concerns. But if you’re anxious about the types of thoughts you’d prefer to never tell another living soul— like hurting people, pedophilia, sexual orientation, incest…that sort of thing— I’m definitely the right therapist. That stuff is my speciality. You’ll be surprised how easy it will be to talk to me about it.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder has been my specialization for the entirety of my therapeutic career. In addition to years of careful study of the disorder, I am a member of the International OCD Foundation and have been certified in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) by the IOCDF and Massachusetts General Hospital.
I have received extensive training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy from supervisors and leaders in the field of couples therapy.
I am currently completing a PhD in Clinical Sexology and have been a practicing sex therapist for years.
Exposure and Response Prevention is Gold Standard treatment for OCD and, in addition to some cognitive work, is my primary intervention for treating clients with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
