About My Clients
I have experience working with individuals, groups, and families. I am an eclectic therapist who adapts the therapeutic approach depending on the needs of the client, but always using evidence-based practices that will help you foster healing, acceptance, and empowerment. Every client is unique and we will work collaboratively to develop an individualized treatment plan that suits you. Some people fear therapy as intimidating. I can assure you that therapy is just a conversation.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed professional counselor in the State of Texas. I have over 9 years of professional experience providing counseling services to individuals, groups, and families. I am an optimistic person and believe in the best in people. My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Texas. Then, I became very interested in studying human behavior and decided to pursue a master's degree in Psychology. After graduating with my master's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas, I became aware that I did not know enough and for such reason I decided to go back to school and completed a master's degree in Counseling from the University of Texas. Then, I obtained my license as a professional counselor. My ambition as a therapist is to help you develop the necessary skills so you can overcome challenging situations in life.
