About My Clients
I work best with adults, veterans, and families who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or frustrated by stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or anger. Many clients come to me facing relationship challenges, life transitions, court involvement, or long-standing patterns that no longer serve them. I also support children and teens struggling with emotional regulation, self-esteem, and stress, using a structured, supportive approach focused on real change.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Doctorate in Counseling from Northwestern Christian University in 2021 and am a Licensed Professional Counselor with advanced training in trauma, grief, substance use, domestic violence, and anger management. I have completed multiple professional certifications and ongoing continuing education to ensure my work remains practical, ethical, and effective. My background includes working with adults, veterans, families, and children in community-based programs, private practice, and court-involved settings. This experience allows me to understand both the emotional and real-world pressures clients face, including stress, relationship conflict, life transitions, and accountability requirements. My approach is structured, supportive, and straightforward. I focus on helping clients build awareness, emotional regulation, and healthier responses to stress while addressing past experiences that continue to impact the present. Sessions are collaborative and practical, with clear go
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness. I value honesty, accountability, and compassion, and I strive to create a space where people feel safe being open without fear of judgment. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel understood while also being supported in taking responsibility for their growth. I am committed to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, and I respect each client’s values, culture, and beliefs. I support mental health awareness, trauma-informed care, and reducing stigma around seeking help. Above all, I believe therapy should be practical, human, and focused on helping people build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
