Hello, my name is Patricia Rameau, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker based out of New York City with 16 years of experience working with at risk children, families, and adults. Born and raised in Bronx, New York City to immigrant parents from Haiti and Martinique, I am well versed and respects the need for cultural competence. I am a committed advocate who has a passion for helping to identify and understand another person’s experience and point of view. I believe that stepping into someone else’s shoes and recognizing that experiences, perceptions, and worldviews are unique to everyone. My work focuses on assisting people who have been abused and neglected improve their quality of life. Social work is not just a job, this is an opportunity to change the way someone sees the world.
