About My Clients

People who are drawn to my approach are young professionals, LGBTQIA+ folks, and women of color. These folks feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally stuck—often after trauma, major life transitions, or long periods of having to “hold it together” for others. They may struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, identity questions, or emotional regulation. They want relief, clarity, and a sense of safety within themselves. More than anything, they want to feel understood.

My Background and Approach

I offer compassionate, trauma-informed care grounded in cultural humility, inclusivity, and collaboration. My goal is to help people build resilience, reconnect with their inner strengths, and create meaningful change in their lives. I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel safe, seen, and supported as they explore their stories and develop tools for lasting growth. As a queer, bilingual therapist (English/Spanish), I bring warmth, empathy, and a deep respect for the diverse lived experiences of the individuals and communities I serve. My approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed practices, and a strengths-based lens to support healing and self-understanding.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Growing up as the eldest daughter of Mexican immigrants and a first-generation college student, I learned early to be independent and push through challenges on my own. In college, depression became a turning point that led me to seek therapy and confront the ways I had been coping with stress, expectations, and the impact of racial trauma from my youth. These experiences, along with my own healing journey, shaped my understanding of the power of therapy and ultimately influenced my decision to become a psychotherapist. I feel honored to work in a profession where I can support others in deepening their self-understanding, healing from past wounds, and creating more meaningful and fulfilling lives.
