About My Clients
I look forward to serving all demographics, but I really want to create access for Black, Latinx, or other people of color to have a space and the opportunity to work with a competent, evidence based, and licensed therapist who looks like them. I have a range of experiences, mainly working with children and teens/young adults as well as their caregivers. I hope to continue to provide the best quality therapy that teaches you tools you can use in your everyday life.
My Background and Approach
As a clinical social worker, I was trained to focus on issues that come up from a bird's eye view; meaning consider the wider picture in all of our behaviors and the decisions we make. I feel this approach is most helpful because many of the things in our lives are closely interconnected. Whether it's depression, a history of trauma, concerns for career or life transitions, or navigating difficult relationship dynamics, I am here to provide support and help you master your own peace!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I tend to always find myself on a quest for knowledge and being able to use that as power to help others become the best version of themselves! I am currently in the Rutgers Doctor of Social Work program in addition to my other roles, where I am thrilled to be able to combine my love for providing rich clinical support to families across the state and expand my knowledge base through research and scholarship.
