About My Clients
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression or just plain stressed out? Does this make it hard for you to show up in your relationships with family, friends, or children? Many of my clients are looking to feel closer in their relationships and create more cooperation in their homes. They are seeking more joyful relationships and want actual skills that get them closer to what they want in life. Let's work together to get you to your goals!
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and certified evidence-based parent coach. This combination creates a powerful way to work with couples and parents to help them reach their relationship goals with their partners and children. Parenting is hard enough already, many of my clients say they find it hard to stay patient and keep their cool when their children just aren't listening. Do you lose it when you've repeated yourself five times? Most of us do! Let's work together to help you find more effective ways of getting the relationship and response you want from your family. I use evidenced-based trauma therapies including EMDR and Parent Management Training Oregon Model (ADAPT) respectfully. My primary methodologies included Cognitive Behavioral Therapy including Mindfulness based CBT. All of this means I have completed trainings that make my work grounded in evidenced-based theories and interventions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
All humans deserve the ability to access health care, mental health resources, and ways to create the life they want for themselves and their family. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQ community and have many parenting clients who identify in many different ways. These are important in how you see yourself and want to role model for your family how to exist in this culture. I am actively involved in social justice and am committed to acknowledging my privilege. I support many movements and continue to grow in this area.
