About My Clients
I work with individual adults that want to heal from the effects of stress and trauma. Trauma can be defined as any issue that has overwhelmed your nervous system. This can include experiences of abuse, problems in relationships or any situation in your life that has really stuck with you. I connect well with people that enjoy doing deep work.
My Background and Approach
I am practitioner of Somatic Experiencing (SEP) and certified in EMDR therapy and Brainspotting. Somatic Experiencing is a body-oriented therapy approach that promotes healing for a wide range of experiences. I have worked in community mental health working with Rape Crisis and sexual abuse survivors and have been in private practice since 2017.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is for everyone! We don't have to be broken to need therapy and can greatly benefit from having this personalized space at any point in our lives. I am passionate about racial justice and am LGBTQIA affirming. I work with individuals and support them in their pursuit of all kinds of relationships including poly, open and CNM
