About My Clients
You may be the person everyone relies on, yet privately feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. I work with adults and couples navigating trauma, betrayal, narcissistic abuse, relationship distress, divorce, grief, ADHD, burnout, codependency, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful, high-functioning people who want more than coping. They want to understand their patterns, feel like themselves again, and build healthier, more secure relationships.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Life Coach, counselor educator, and doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision. I work with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship distress, betrayal, narcissistic abuse, grief, ADHD, burnout, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to the person in front of me. I integrate EMDR, attachment-based therapy, IFS-informed work, somatic approaches, CBT, EFT, and Gottman Method principles to help clients understand patterns, process painful experiences, and create meaningful change. Clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Together, we work toward greater clarity, emotional safety, healthier relationships, stronger boundaries, and a more grounded sense of self. For clients who desire it, I also offer faith-integrated care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My Christian faith deeply shapes the way I understand compassion, dignity, hope, and the capacity for restoration. I believe every person deserves to be met with curiosity rather than judgment and to have their story honored with care. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and respect each person’s beliefs, identity, values, and autonomy. Faith is incorporated into therapy only when a client desires it. I care deeply about supporting survivors of trauma, betrayal, relational abuse, divorce, and other experiences that can leave people questioning their worth or sense of safety. I believe healing is not about becoming who you were before something painful happened, but about discovering who you are becoming and learning to flourish with greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, spending time in nature, drinking good coffee, and making meaningful memories with my husband and our blended family of five children.
