About My Clients

Most of my clients are holding more than they should be. Women running on fumes. People sitting with grief nobody around them understands anymore. People moving through depression, trauma, or a complicated relationship with food. Couples who love each other but can't stop hurting each other. Parents navigating a difficult divorce. People whose brains work differently and who are tired of fighting themselves.

My Background and Approach

I became an LCSW because I wanted to do work that actually meant something, not work that looked good on paper, but work that changed how people feel when they wake up in the morning. With 9 years of clinical experience, grief pulled me in early, and over the years that expanded into trauma, depression, burnout, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship struggles, co-parenting, ADHD, and OCD. I draw from ACT, CBT, DBT, IFS, and Narrative Therapy, and I'm currently getting EMDR certified. Everything I do is trauma-informed. We work at your pace, and nothing gets pushed. I'm not a blank-slate therapist. I'll be real with you, and I'll probably make you laugh at some point even when we're talking about something hard. I don't think therapy has to feel like sitting in the principal's office. We'll go deep when we need to, but this is a collaboration, not a lecture. And if something feels like too much, we slow down.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe the relationship between a therapist and client is where real change happens. Not the techniques, not the frameworks, not the homework. Those things matter, but if you don't feel safe and genuinely understood by the person sitting across from you, none of it works. That's where I put my energy first. I also believe you are the expert on your own life. My job isn't to tell you what to do or who to be. It's to help you hear yourself more clearly and trust what you already know. I meet people where they are, whatever that looks like. If faith and spirituality are part of how you make sense of the world, there's room for that here. If they're not, that's fine too. I don't have an agenda beyond helping you feel better and live in a way that actually fits you. And I believe change is possible. I've seen it too many times to think otherwise, even in people who came in convinced nothing would ever be different. Therapy isn't magic, but it works when you show up for it. I'll show up t
