About My Clients
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, and life transitions. Many clients feel overwhelmed, self-critical, or disconnected despite functioning well externally. I offer a warm, collaborative space to better understand patterns and old wounds, reduce distress, and build coping skills. My approach is trauma-informed and evidence-based, integrating CBT and EFT to support healing, resilience, and a more grounded, connected sense of self.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed psychologist with specialized experience supporting adults with anxiety, trauma, and chronic illness. My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and trauma-informed care, which I tailor to each client’s unique needs and goals. I have worked with individuals navigating persistent worry, panic, burnout, complex trauma, medical stress, and significant life transitions. I also have a strong interest in the emotional impact of chronic health conditions, including grief, identity shifts, and coping with uncertainty. I integrate structured interventions with compassion and flexibility, so therapy feels both supportive and effective. My goal is to help clients move toward greater resilience, self-trust, and a more grounded sense of self, even in the midst of ongoing challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it is grounded in safety, collaboration, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard and not judged. I view therapy as a partnership that blends clinical expertise with each client’s values, strengths, and goals. I am committed to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care, with attention to how identity, health, and life context shape emotional well-being. I aim to meet each person where they are, without assumptions, and to adapt treatment in a way that feels relevant and respectful. I value creating space where clients can show up authentically. I strongly support efforts that reduce mental health stigma and increase access to care. At the core of my work is the belief that healing happens in a consistent, attuned therapeutic relationship where people feel supported in understanding themselves and building a more grounded, meaningful life.
