My Background and Approach
As a marriage and family therapist, I am trained to view client’s presenting problems as relational. That means I am always looking to answer the following question: How have relationships throughout your life influenced your current issue? I like to hold conversational style sessions where I offer a warm, empathetic, genuine approach to all of my clients. I create a space that is safe and free of judgment in order to support client growth. I like to use Solution Focused and Narrative Therapy tenets because they recognize the client as the expert in their life. My ultimate goal is to help you find the answers you need while re-authoring your story. At Transformations with P our motto is: Transforming Problems & Pain into Power & Peace. Sometimes all you need is a different perspective to help you realize the agency you already have. I want to highlight for you the power that you already have and help you to utilize that power in gaining your peace.
