About My Clients
The couples I work with are often thoughtful, motivated, and invested in their relationship even if things feel strained right now. They want clarity, direction, and a structured process to help them move forward. As a Gottman certified clinician, I guide couples through a clear process that renders results. I specialize in helping couples move out of conflict, disconnection, and uncertainty and into a relationship that feels more stable, connected, and intentional.
My Background and Approach
I integrate the Gottman Method Couples Therapy with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and insight-focused approaches. This combination allows for both practical skill-building and deeper exploration of the emotional patterns that shape how individuals and couples experience themselves and each other.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Clients deserve a therapy space where their relationships, identities, and values are honored, not judged or pathologized. I believe people do the best they can with the tools they have, and that with the right support, new patterns of safety, connection, and communication are possible at any stage of life. As a Gottman certified couples counselor, I value honesty, accountability, and practical skills that couples can actually use at home, not just in session. My personal beliefs are grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for diverse identities, cultures, and relationship structures. I affirm LGBTQ+ individuals and couples and welcome clients from all spiritual, non‑spiritual, and cultural backgrounds. I stand against racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and any form of oppression, and I work to create a space where you can talk openly about how these forces impact your relationship and mental health.
