About My Clients
You feel like you've tried everything and nothing seems to work. You know where you want to be, but you just can’t seem to figure out how to get there. As a child or teen dealing with anxiety, behavioral issues, depression, significant change or loss, you may be feeling sad, afraid and/or struggling to maintain friendships. As a young adult moving along life’s path, you may be struggling with choices on how to navigate through those planned and unplanned transitions.
My Background and Approach
That’s where I can help. Together we will work on discovering your path and who you want to be. I know the decision to seek help can be difficult. I will work with you to truly understand your struggles and empower you to make the positive changes necessary for achieving the quality of life you deserve. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral problems, special needs, and other social or developmental struggles. I have worked closely with this population, and their parents, providing behavioral therapy at home and in school. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and life's daily stressors.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My perceptive and encouraging personality enables me to connect with individuals and help them identify their goals in a safe, welcoming environment. I know the value in working through life's challenges. I have overcome my own emotional and physical struggles that taught me how to understand, accept, and love the person I am today. My passion for helping others began at a young age and has developed into my life's mission.
