We help treat your OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) by using Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy. This kind of treatment is a type of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Exposure and Response Prevention involves an evaluation to evaluate your symptoms and the severity of your obsessions and compulsions and how they are are affecting you and your life. Together we create a list of exposures we will use in a systematic and gradual process to decrease your symptoms of OCD.

Exposure therapies are a specific type of CBT aimed at helping clients face the things that make them the most anxious. We start off exploring and evaluating your thoughts and behaviors, then we create a plan to gradually expose you to stressors while simultaneously being supported by your therapist. This is a great type therapy for stress, anxiety, OCD (Exposure and Response Prevention), depression, perfectionism, people pleasers and PTSD.
