About My Clients
Are you and your partner(s) either constantly fighting or avoiding each other? Do you and your teen get into power struggles? Do you want to try polyamory, yet feel jealousy and resentment? Therapy can be a place to safely heal negative patterns and work through difficulties. I provide an open, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space for my courageous clients to share their whole stories—the good, the bad, the ugly. I welcome all who desire to open up in order to heal.
My Background and Approach
I am a pre-licensed couple and family therapist who loves working in the connections between people. Often people in relationships become bogged down in a dysfunctional cycle that they cannot see. They understand that it is causing distress, but aren't sure how to change it. I have experience finding the pattern so that all people involved can work toward changing it--healing it. I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University. I believe that all individuals are also part of many different groups or "systems." These relationships can support us or sometimes create challenges for us. When I work with individuals, I help support them to be the best individuals within their various relationships. If you and your partner(s) or family come to sessions, I will support everyone to change and find a healthier way to relate.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe sometimes we learn the most from the challenging and difficult moments and phases in our lives. I am committed to offering a non-judgmental, open space for my clients to explore their highest highs, their lowest lows and everything in between. I embrace all relationship types including intimate partners (two or more), best friends, parents, siblings, co-workers, extended families, and all others. I believe that we can find spiritual transformation and even life's meaning inside the connections we form and maintain with those we love. I also welcome people who have found transformation through using psychedelics. Sometimes the journey is rough and you many want some support to make sense of what you experienced. I understand the power and risks involved with psychedelics. Sometimes the most important part of the journey is what we do to help integrate our lessons upon returning to our lives.
