About My Clients
I work with children ages 3-14 providing play, art, sandplay, and cognitive behavior therapy, a form of talk therapy which is done on the child’s developmental level. I also work closely with the family providing ongoing education, resources, and Theraplay techniques where we work together as I teach you various ways to engage with your child using specific therapeutic activities to help create healthy attachments, positive behaviors, coping skills, etc.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is holistic combining mind & body therapuetic support. I provide my clients with the necessary tools to navigate through life's ups and downs. I will nurture and support your child on their developmental and emotional level empowering them to become healthy, happy, thoughtful, and confident individuals. Play therapy truly works wonders. This expressive, therapeutic process covers all challenges children may face such as trauma, depression, ADHD, anxiety, and more in a safe, expressive, and non-judgmental way. Art, sandplay, nature, CBT, and Theraplay for parents in conjunction with play therapy techniques increases the level of client success. Each client also receives tailor-made and child-centered therapy sessions for optimal support.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a nonjudgemental Christian therapist. I provide therapy for children from all walks of life and support them in their individual and unique journeys in a way that suits them best. I believe that each one of us has a purpose in life and have the ability to heal from the traumas and challenges we may face with the appropriate support and guidance. We are Stronger than We Believe!
