I am a Level 2 trained Gottman couples therapist and have worked with couples experiencing conflict, infidelity, intimacy issues, parenting struggles, and partners with PTSD or substance abuse. I am experienced in using the Gottman Connect assessment with couples and plan therapeutic interventions accordingly.

I use IFS to help individuals connect with their self as they unburden and separate from self-protective parts that were once needed but have become destructive. I have completed IFS Level 1 training through the IFS Institute, as well as additional training on using IFS with medical syndromes and Christian integration of IFS.

I am a trained EMDR therapist with experience working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, panic attacks, childhood trauma, abuse, and relational trauma. I am trained in EMDR 2.0 and ego state therapy and in the process of EMDR certification. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that is effective with many disorders and types of trauma. I have experience and training in conducting EMDR virtually as well as in-person.

Research shows that spirituality is an invaluable resource for mental health and healing. As a Christian therapist, I specialize in helping clients who wish to integrate their faith to explore their perspectives of God, address belief systems in light of biblical truth, find hope and meaning in their suffering, and deepen their spiritual walk as they heal. I am passionate about the fact that psychology and theology are not imcompatible and can be interwoven to enhance the healing process.

I work with PTSD and complex PTSD using EMDR therapy and IFS (Internal Family Systems) parts work. I approach trauma healing from a holistic model that incorporates the emotional, physical, relational, and cognitive impacts of the trauma, incorporating interventions that address all of these areas. Developmental trauma and attachment wounds can require deep work and patience; my goal is to help clients develop compassion for themselves as they gain the resources they need for their journeys.

Marriage and relationships are hard, and we often do not enter them knowing how to do conflict, comunication, or intimacy well.
