About My Clients
Hi, I’m Pam — and I’m really glad you’re here. In today’s world, the constant stream of political unrest and distressing headlines can leave even the most resilient among us feeling anxious, hopeless, or emotionally exhausted. If you’re finding it hard to unplug, sleep, or focus — you're not overreacting. You're responding to real stress, and you don’t have to face it alone.
My Background and Approach
I have over 17 years of experience in the mental health field. Before gaining my LCSW license I worked for a substance abuse inpatient treatment center and this is where I gained valuable experience working with patients striving to live a life of recovery. Once I graduated with my degrees in social work, I worked for the Drug Court Program as well as Probation and Parole. I have vast experience counseling clients with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and substance abuse. My background enables me to be an extremely effective and compassionate social worker. I’m also well-versed in the ways criminal justice involvement can shape someone’s experiences and challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy should be a safe, inclusive, and empowering space where people can reconnect with their sense of purpose, meaning, and inner strength. My approach is rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel seen, heard, and accepted exactly as we are. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals through life’s complexities, and I proudly stand with the LGBTQ+ community. My values — compassion, authenticity, and social justice — guide every part of my work as I help clients navigate not just their internal struggles, but also the external pressures of a challenging world.
