My Background and Approach
You present yourself as having things all figured out when deep down inside you are feeling lost and vulnerable. You are scared because you have lived this way for so long and have never experienced more than temporary relief from it. Perhaps you have not been able to share how you really feel with friends or loved ones. Deep down inside you are exhausted and are ready to feel different. You are ready to be vulnerable and live life differently with hope and passion. (I am licensed to practice in Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Florida and Washington State.) Clients come to me often after exhausting other avenues. Therapy with me is a place where you will learn to open up and not feel judged. In my nearly 30 years as a private therapist I have worked with Marital Infidelity and Sex Addiction, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Postpartum Depression, Special Needs Parenting, Financial Issues and Chronic Pain.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a humanist that suffers from chronic pain. I have five (5) children of my own, including one with Autism/Intellectual Disability. I deeply care about people and most certainly can relate to the struggles of my patients as there have been plenty of struggles in my own life.
