About My Clients
I work with adults who feel overwhelmed by OCD, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, trauma, or burnout. My clients are thoughtful, high-pressure, often stuck in fear loops or overthinking. They want relief, clarity, and tools that actually help. I offer a warm, steady space where they feel understood, supported, and empowered to change.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in OCD, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, trauma, and burnout. My background includes community mental health, school-based work, and specialized OCD treatment, giving me a grounded, flexible approach to care. I’m trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed therapy. My style is warm, steady, and collaborative—I explain the “why” behind what we do and pace treatment to your comfort. I believe therapy should feel safe, clear, and effective. Together, we’ll work to reduce fear cycles, calm your nervous system, and help you feel more grounded and confident in daily life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens when people feel understood, respected, and safe enough to be their full selves. I see therapy as a partnership—your lived experience and intuition matter just as much as my clinical training. I believe people aren’t “broken”; they’re doing their best with the tools they’ve had. With support, education, and compassion, new patterns become possible. I trust in the brain’s ability to change, the nervous system’s ability to settle, and in your ability to build a life that feels calmer, clearer, and more aligned with who you are.
