About My Clients
You don’t need to have a big reason to start therapy. Burnout counts. Family stuff counts. Feeling off counts. Not knowing who you are outside of being “the reliable one?” That counts. I work with adults of all ages navigating relationships, life transitions, and the practice of self-compassion—often while also managing anxiety, self-doubt, or a desire for something more. My role is to help you connect with your own inner wisdom and move toward meaningful, fulfilling change that feels better.
My Background and Approach
In my work with clients, I utilize both Somatic Experiencing (SE) and traditional talk therapy. I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), and I have training in sandtray therapy, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am certified in Adoption Competency (TAC) and have extensive experience supporting families and individuals touched by adoption or foster care. I am also Board Certified through the Telebehavioral Health Institute in delivering telehealth mental health services. Therapy with me is warm and free of judgement. In sessions, there are moments for humor, opportunities for tears, and sighs of deep relief in feeling seen and understood. We will work to better understand some of your patterns & the stories and messages that have been internalized about who you are. We’ll work with your nervous system (fight, flight and freeze mode; our automatic, survival responses) and we play with what it feels like to live from a place of thriving and alignment.
