About My Clients

You may be dealing with anxiety, trauma or a difficult relationship with food and your body. Perhaps family dynamics still affect your self-worth, relationships or ability to set boundaries. I work with adults and couples, including people navigating OCD, ADHD, perfectionism, family estrangement and major life changes. We’ll look at how these patterns developed and what you want to do differently now. To work with me, book through my website.

My Background and Approach

My style is warm, direct and collaborative. I’ll help you connect what is happening now with the experiences and relationships that shaped you. I’ll listen without judgment, but I’ll also point out patterns, ask difficult questions and tell you honestly when I notice something that may be keeping you stuck. I use attachment-based therapy, somatic work, DBT and ERP. We may explore how earlier relationships affect the way you connect with people now, pay attention to how stress or trauma shows up in your body or build practical skills for managing strong emotions. For OCD and anxiety, we may work on approaching fears differently rather than allowing avoidance to make them stronger. I’ll explain why we’re doing something and adapt the work to what you need. Therapy can include reflection, practical tools, homework and humor when it fits.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I don’t think therapy should only help you understand why something is happening. That understanding should eventually help you respond differently in your relationships and everyday life. I’ll validate what you’re going through, but I’ll also be honest when I notice a pattern that may be working against you. I’m a former competitive athlete and have my own experience with mental health recovery. Both have shaped how I think about pressure, resilience and the difference between looking strong and actually feeling well. I believe self-compassion and accountability can exist together. We can understand why you developed a way of coping while still being honest about whether it is helping you now.
