The tissues are on the table but I'm not a therapist who wants to spend your precious time dumpster diving into the past. I’d rather work out the here and now with ideas we create together that you can try out. Then you'll be the judge of what works and what doesn’t. Oh yeah, that means “homework”—just not the kind you dreaded in school.
My Background and Approach
I'm an education junkie with 2 masters, a graduate specialist certification in issues on aging, with a mile high stack of reading on my nightstand. I'm a teacher at heart, and will do my best to enlighten you on stuff that simply does not come with a handbook. Some cognitive behavioral therapy, lots of research on trust, and family dynamics that keep you stuck. That's my jam.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Travel is the best teacher. I do a lot of it. Moderation, and the strong belief that women deserve pleasure as much as men in a society & government dominated by an out-of-touch gerontocracy.
