About My Clients
I specialize in working with individuals with acute or chronic medical conditions, addressing physical, emotional, and behavioral health to improve overall well-being and adjustment in everyday life. Common referral concerns include adjustment to stressors, anxiety, low mood, difficulty coping with a medical diagnosis/condition/injury, trouble adhering to medical treatments, difficulty transitioning to daily life after a medical hospitalization or surgery, and chronic or acute pain.
My Background and Approach
I provide services via telehealth to make treatment as accessible as possible, working with families to define goals and come up with a unique treatment plan. I utilize evidence-based treatments that focus on specific skills, often behavioral or cognitive-behavioral in nature, to help individuals progress towards their goals. I have experience working in outpatient mental health clinics, children's hospitals and medical specialty clinics, as well as pediatric primary care. My goal is to bring the skills I have acquired to private practice in order to improve access to care and help individuals to optimize overall health and well-being.
