About My Clients
I love working with people whether it is relationship issues, or going through life, having difficulties coping with trauma and depression. I know how difficult it is to disclose this information, and I want you to know that we are here for you. We will work with you in coping with these issues and work on the best plan of action to move forward with life. Here at district counseling, we emphasize on acceptance and commitment, and we want you to live your life to the fullest.
My Background and Approach
I work with clients through the their thoughts and cognitions. We help them identify their thought patterns and modify them to what they want their reality to be. I also emphasize on validating my clients feelings and to build a therapeutic alliance. I work the best way to make clients feel safe and in a secure place. One my last approaches that I use is relaxation techniques such as grounding, mindfulness, and focusing on the present. I emphasize this approach many times to help my clients relax.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
People can change depending where they are in life. At times, we identify the behavior patterns that led to my clients feeling bad about themselves. When we know what their true difficulties are, we work the best way to help them.
