About My Clients
You may feel anxious, discouraged, overly self-critical, stuck in a difficult relationship, or burdened by patterns that are hard to change. You may come from a complicated family background, be navigating a major life transition, or simply know that something is not working the way you want it to. I work with adults, men, couples, and families who want to better understand what is happening, regulate emotions, improve relationships, and develop practical ways of responding differently.
My Background and Approach
I hold an M.S. in Psychology and am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California, practicing under supervision. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and biopsychosocial, helping you understand how thoughts, emotions, behavior, relationships, well-being, and life circumstances interact. I use practical strategies informed by Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to identify patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop more effective responses. With couples, I draw from the Gottman Method to address communication, conflict, trust, and connection. With families, I use Structural Family Therapy concepts to explore roles and boundaries. I have a particular interest in men’s mental health, including resilience, responsibility, meaning, and changing roles across adulthood. My goal is to provide perspective, structure, and practical tools while keeping therapy centered on what matters most to you.
