About My Clients
Specializing in neurodivergent clients, specifically children and teens, my approach is rooted in compassion, understanding, and evidence-based interventions. I also address anxiety, depression and life transitions in children and adolescents from ages 8-21. Children and adolescents face extraordinary challenges as they grow. That growth can sometimes bring transitions that are hard to navigate. This can be especially true for neurodivergent youth. I help them find their strengths.
My Background and Approach
I provide a supportive and empowering environment where clients can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and cultivate resilience. Through a combination of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, I am dedicated to facilitating growth and healing. As a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, I bring a deep understanding and expertise in supporting neurodiverse individuals. I am also a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH). I currently see clients virtually in Louisiana and Alabama.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe children and teens should be given all the tools possible to help them lead fulfilling and successful lives. Children can sometimes lack coping strategies to effectively and successfully walk through life's hard days. These hard days can include problems at school with academics or sports, peer relationships, family difficulties including divorce, growing positive social skills, trying to fit in, and dealing with anxiety associated with graduation and college transitions.
