About My Clients
My areas of focus include trauma and PTSD, past physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, and violent or life-threatening experiences. I also specialize in working with relationship and attachment trauma, and complex and developmental trauma in adults (18+). I work best with adults who are ready for trauma-focused therapy and appreciate a therapist who is direct, skilled, and deeply informed about trauma.
My Background and Approach
My primary modality is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a well-researched, evidence-based treatment for trauma. EMDR allows us to process traumatic experiences without having to relive them in detail, helping your nervous system release what it has been holding onto and move toward a greater sense of stability and control. I work in a way that is structured and purposeful while remaining deeply respectful of your pace and boundaries. Being direct does not mean being harsh — it means being clear, honest, and focused on what actually helps trauma heal. Clients often describe me as grounded, straightforward, and steady. I do not minimize trauma or rush the process, but I also don’t allow therapy to stay stuck in avoidance or surface-level work. Sessions are focused, intentional, and centered on helping you reclaim your sense of agency and safety. You can expect a therapist who is fully present, trauma-aware, and committed to doing real work.
