I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals with PTSD diagnosis in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health, outpatient behavioral health clinic and assertive community treatment programs. In addition, I have held supervisory positions providing clinical supervision to registered and licensed mental health clinicians serving this population. I am trained in trauma-informed care approaches.

I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals with depressive disorders in a variety of settings including private practice, outpatient mental health clinics, community mental health, and jail/criminal justice systems. In addition, I have supervised licensed clinicians in utilization management of inpatient services for major depressive and other mood disorders. I use CBT as my primary treatment approach with a trauma-informed lens.

I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals with anxiety disorders in a variety of settings including private practice, outpatient mental health clinics, and community mental health. I have supervised registered and licensed clinicians serving this population. I use CBT and relaxation techniques as my primary treatment approach with a trauma-informed lens.

In my over 20 years of experience as a mental health clinician, I have provided therapy to diverse populations with mood and anxiety disorders in a variety of settings using CBT.

I am trained in trauma-informed care including the Neuroscience, Epigenetics, ACEs, Resilience (N.E.A.R) model through ACES Aware. In my over 20 years of experience in community mental health and outpatient settings, trauma is often an intricate component of a myriad of psychiatric disorders. Hence, trauma-informed therapy is a core component of my treatment approach.

I draw from my training and experience in evidence-based treatments to fit the individualized needs of my clients. I incorporate sensory, relaxation, mindfulness practices for clients who present with somatic symptoms, or for those who want to develop skills for self-care and wellness. In a previous role as director of a community mental health program, I have managed holistic services including Tai Chi, mindfulness, and acupuncture.
