Have you recently realized the extent to which your child's anxiety has taken over your home life? The vast majority of parents of anxious kids modify their behavior to accommodate their child. Perhaps your child has tried therapy without success or they're unwilling to even give it a chance. In our sessions, you'll learn tools to provide effective support, understand and implement appropriate boundaries, and reduce the accommodations that have inadvertently reinforced your child's anxiety.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with adolescents, teens, and young adults dealing with anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, and emotional dysregulation. I work with clients individually, via parent sessions using SPACE, and in group therapy. By identifying their values, my clients discover ways to navigate difficult obstacles and decisions in order to align their actions with what matters most to them. Working from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective, I support my clients with embracing their strengths while facing the challenges and trauma of navigating a society that often does not recognize neurodivergent needs. As a culturally-responsive therapist, I'm dedicated to understanding and integrating each client's unique cultural background and experiences into our therapeutic work to ensure a truly personalized and effective approach.
