I work with women who are are anxious, struggle with perfectionism and are trying to do it all. My goal is to help you find a way to be free from anxiety and stress and be present in the moment. I work with my clients on finding balance in life so they can be present with themselves and their loved ones. Many of my clients are moms, both new and experienced. Let's be real, moms are often the ones picking up the slack and running the ship. Let me help you reconnect with yourself.

Many of my clients have anxiety. I work with anxiety in two different ways. First, I help you identify practical skills and tools you can use to feel relief from anxiety that makes being present day to day difficult. Second, I help you explore the root causes of identity and the role it plays for you. I help my clients feel better day to day, but I also want to support you in finding ways to make lasting change by getting at the root of the issue. I'll help you find peace in the present.

Being a parent is tough! Many parents are finding that raising children in a world that is drastically different than the one they grew up in to be very stressful. As a marriage and family therapist I know how important our relationships are. Our early relationships influence the way we interact in our future relationships. Our current relationships play a major role in how we feel day to day. Having healthy and happy relationships are the basis for the connection we need. I help clients explore how their attachment with others, from early on, to the present play a role in their well-being.

This means I have completed training in EMDR and taken advanced training and invested in ongoing consultation and supervision to be able to treat client concerns with EMDR. EMDR is an evidenced based therapy for treating trauma. Many of my clients find EMDR helpful as they learn to work through past issues that are coming up to the surface in their present life. EMDR doesn't make you forget the past, but it does allow you to find freedom and live in the present.

I know that people don't exist in isolation, we all belong to families, biological, legal, or chosen. The people we call our family play a big role in our day to day life and mental health. I help clients understand how their experience in their family connects to what they feel day to day.
