About My Clients
Perhaps you have trauma in your past or present. You are feeling inauthentic in your relationships because you feel disconnected, resentful, and unable to get your needs met. Perhaps you feel like your only source of value is based on what you have to offer others. Maybe you’ve recently suffered a great loss or a difficult transition. The ways in which you have previously coped are no longer serving you. Regardless of where you are in this process, I welcome you.
My Background and Approach
I have specific training in issues such as narcissistic abuse, intimate partner violence, SA, and trauma. I am a queer therapist and enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ clients around sexuality and gender. My intention is to create an authentic, non-judgmental, safe environment in which I can join you on your journey of self-compassion, exploration, and growth. Please note that I am only providing telehealth at this time. I do not currently take insurance, but am happy to provide a superbill.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach to counseling is largely client-centered and strength based. I believe that each of my clients already has the innate ability to heal and grow, it is my role to work with them collaboratively and sift through that which is no longer working for them so that they can live with a greater sense of authenticity, joy, and meaning in their lives.
