About My Clients
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, difficult memories from the past, or feeling like you are not enough I am here to help.
My Background and Approach
I received my master’s degree in counseling psychology from Santa Clara University in 2020. Over the last few years I have worked with individuals, adolescents, and children with a wide range of presenting issues. I have received training and supervision surrounding a variety of mental health concerns, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, life transitions, and self-esteem and self-worth. I regularly attend continuing education classes to stay up to date on any and all new information in the counseling psychology field. I am trained in EMDR as well as trauma-informed therapy. I incorporate a number of therapeutic orientations into my work with clients. I find this is the best way to meet my clients where they are and support them in what they need regardless of what they are going through. I work to stay present in the moment, while also maintaining focus on your goals and desired outcomes.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Through my personal experiences, I have learned that each of us has an innate desire to be understood and seen. I became a therapist in order to help others access a deeper understanding of themselves and use this understanding to bring about profound and lasting change. My goal in the therapeutic relationship is to support your growth as you work to overcome the struggles you are facing in your life and your relationships. I hope to join you on your journey of exploration and be a safe place where you are free to access and uncover all of yourself. Therapy is a deeply personal and vulnerable process. I bring my empathy, compassion and understanding to every session and hold space in a kind and nurturing manner. Through this approach, my clients are able to make positive change that impact multiple areas of their lives.
