About My Clients
I regularly work with adult women who are dealing with difficult situations such as: family stress, burnout, perfectionism at work, self-image, anxiety, depression and trauma. Although I am only offering online therapy, I believe this is a beneficial opportunity for many if they have a private and familiar space to process emotions in the comfort of their own home. My Background and Approach
One researched based approach we may use is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. It teaches us although we can’t always control situations, we can learn to change our thought process, which affects our emotions, and behavior. Therapy isn’t meant to be life long. It’s meant to increase self-awareness, and equip you with tools to appropriately manage life’s stress. We can process together to make sense of what you’re going through. Sometimes this requires more than a “band aid.” To effectively move forward in life we may need a “surgical” approach to fully heal from past hurt, or trauma. We can then learn to think, feel and behave in healthy ways with more self-awareness after truly examining the past. We can collaborate in this healing process to help you live a better version of you.
