I have experience working with individuals affected by a life altering diagnosis and understanding the complex issues raised by anxiety, grief/bereavement, fear of the unknown, and depression. I incorporate aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into my practice by identifying unhealthy thinking patterns and assisting you in reframing those thoughts. I utilize solution focused therapy as I concentrate on identifying concerns and obtaining manageable solutions to allow more effective coping. I integrate systems theory to provide the opportunity for you to discuss and understand how your emotional challenges affect your life and the surrounding systems.
