I work with clients who experienced trauma (PTSD, C-PTSD), are in recovery (12 step and other paths), in the LGBTQ+ community, experience anxiety/stress, and more.
My Background and Approach
As a Holistic Mental Health Therapist, I process with you and create a space of openness, trust and acceptance. As a Yoga Therapist, I provide various tools to fit your specific needs, such as breathing exercises, meditations, yoga philosophy, and somatic movement. My approach is eclectic and draws on various therapies, such as Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Parts Work, Mindfulness Meditation, Compassion Focused Therapy, and more. This approach provides broader perspective and insight, as well as deeper understanding into who you are. I have extensive training in yoga philosophy and meditation from Yogalife Insitiute in King of Prussia, PA. I received my Masters in Professional Counseling from Rosemont College in Bryn Mawr, PA and am currently pursuing additional training in Ecopsychology. I approach therapy from the mind, body, and spirit perspective and believe that an integration of the three is important to the therapy process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone should have access to affordable mental healthcare. Through my own personal experience in therapy, I have found a deep sense of relief and inner healing. I am passionate about LGBTQIA+ rights and believe strongly in caring for the Earth. I believe that Black Lives Matter. I am a strong supporter of animal rights and have been vegetarian for 8+ years.
