About My Clients
I work with clients who want more than quick fixes—they’re ready for meaningful, lasting change. If you’re motivated to better understand yourself and improve your life, especially while facing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or major life transitions, we’ll work together to explore your patterns, clarify your values, and build a life that feels authentic and grounded.
My Background and Approach
I earned my master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Denver in Colorado. My internship took me to San Antonio, Texas, where I worked in a juvenile detention facility. After completing my training, I transitioned into private practice. While I have experience in psychological and neuropsychological assessments, my current primary focus is therapy. I’m passionate about helping clients build self-awareness and understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors developed. Together, we’ll use that insight to develop effective coping skills, foster self-acceptance, and harness your strengths. Most importantly, we’ll work to create a life aligned with your unique values and goals. If you’re unsure what those goals are, we’ll begin by clarifying your vision for the future and move forward from there.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the core of my work is a deep belief in the importance of living in alignment with our values—and the courage it takes to question the beliefs and ideologies we were raised with. I see therapy as a space for thoughtful exploration, where curiosity is more important than certainty. I believe that self-awareness and change grow from asking honest, sometimes uncomfortable questions about what we’ve been taught and what we truly want. My commitment to compassion and integrity also extends beyond human relationships; I have a long-standing love for non-human animals and am actively involved in animal rescue. This work reflects my broader values of care, justice, and respect for all beings.
